Nigeria Customs to Recruit Every Year
Good news for Nigerians looking for government jobs.
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that it will now recruit new workers every year instead of waiting several years between recruitment exercises.
The announcement was made by the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, during a press briefing at the Customs Headquarters in Abuja while presenting the final list of successful candidates for the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
According to the Comptroller-General, the 2026 Nigeria Customs recruitment exercise will begin later this year.
He explained that the new yearly recruitment system will help the service replace retiring officers on time and give young Nigerians regular opportunities to apply for jobs.
