The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced a free CAC registration programme for 250,000 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.
The programme is being carried out through the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) in partnership with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
According to the government, the aim of this programme is to help small business owners register their businesses without paying the normal registration fee.
This initiative was approved by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to support entrepreneurs and encourage more businesses to join Nigeria's formal economy.
